We could have helped Afghanistan rebuild after we helped supply them when they were fighting the Soviet Union. But it was a covert operation, so that the Soviet Union wouldn't come gunning after us. And since we left Afghanistan hanging out to dry afterwards, so our country could cover its own ass, the trained Afghani soldiers just took the weapons we supplied them with and the veterans of that war became powerful warlords. And the Taliban as we know it today was born.
He said you're an idiot. Not much to explain. Your original comment had absolutely nothing to do with the photograph, this is an art website. Comment on the photograph if you have something to say about it, but your original comment is a non sequitur.
How many years since the creation of America has it been at peace compared to that of it's years at war Including it's Battle for Independence, by my count roughly 21 years of peace compared to roughly 216 years of war.... and America is only 237 years old.... just saying.... war seems to be America's first response to everything
Sailors and Marines in the mountains and deserts; of course, the infantry are manning submarines somewhere... together with airmen... that's military intelligence for ya... What a desolate landscape, but if you think about it there are so many wonderful aspect of Afghanistan that we don't think about. Snow leopards and beauitful Makhor goats and wacky little Hoopoes birds make their home here, and I wish this war would end and everyone, on both sides could be at peace.
