An F-35A Lightning II joint strike fighter from the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and an F-22A Raptor from the 325th Fighter Wing at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., soar over the Emerald Coast Sept. 19, 2012. It's photos like these that make me hate the fact that I got too tall to be able to fly fighters. Got too tall to be able to fly just about anything for that matter. So I became a journalist instead. I love how vicious and sleek the F-22 looks, I'm in no hurry for our country to go to war, but I'm also excited to see how the F-22 handles itself in combat. Hopefully they fix the oxygen problem first. I look forward to seeing how the F-35 handles as well. I want it to prove all its neigh sayers wrong, that it's not an ill-performing, expensive, piece of junk. But from what I've read it does still seem to have a sizable list of bugs to work out.

Which one would win in a fight, or are they pretty evenly matched?

I personally think the F-22 is highly overrated. Still, nice photo.

I wonder what the photographer was in...

Also, it was funny seeing this under 'transportation'. I was like 'what?! Well... I guess they do that, too...'
