*phew its photos like this that really capture the intensity of combat, must have been a quick recreation cuz hes got no gear on...hope he was alright after that! Thanks for your service! hes got guts there! (just hope he puts a helmet on after that!) the debris really makes this photo interesting too!
While I do not support troops being sent to war for corporate interests either, I do support the fight in Afghanistan to pull the country away from the extremists and to win the Afghan's a better future.
The fact that you base your understanding of the world off of such shallow garbage while refuting the experience of someone who's actually been there shows your own nativity. When you grow up and hopefully learn something about the actual world, you'll see how silly and empty your comment here is.
"When you grow up and hopefully learn something about the actual world" Funny, I thought the same of you. Ironic, isnt it? As Simidae said, its an amazing capture, but dont start telling us your Country fights for whatever Country's better future. Your Country kills hundredths of thousands people all over the world (Irak, Afghanistan, Lybia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Syria soon? Iran soon?) since many years to secure their economical interests, and you are just a marionette, indoctrinated by your media and politicians. Its a proven fact that your soldiers used uranium ammunition in Irak. You know how high the birth defects and cancer rate grew up there since 2003? Google it. Same in Vietnam (Orange Agent). But hey! Its everything for Humanity and a better future
AzRalL922 I stand behind your post. Some of those american patriots really need to wake up and see the real face of their goverment. I dont have nothing against the soldiers, send there, but the real evil is the one claiming they are fightning terrorist, while in truth they are occupying whole nations and killing millions just because of their oil reserves. I am sorry if i am too blunt here, but i cant believe how blind some people can be, or they just dont want to see or admit the obvious.
Yeah, but no one knew about the lithium until very recently. And if we went there to get the natural resources, we've done a shit job of plundering it. The only people who's resources are getting plundered is America by the contractors.
That is crazy, Afghanistan does not have a rail or road system to support large scale mining. What makes you think we Americans would want to build that network when we will not even build a pipeline to extract natural gas from Alaska, or tap oil reserves off our American south east coast line? Your argument has no merit. Until there is stability in Afghanistan, there will be no development by anybody.
You know, you can't just cut and paste stuff without applying some common sense. Yes, Afghanistan has mineral wealth. I said that, but little of it is being exploited because of a nonexistent infrastructure and continuing political and social strife. America invaded to destroy a terrorist safe haven, not to corner the opium market as your article suggest.
you should read/listen noam chomsky lectures and learn something new today. This 'terrorist safe haven' was funded and trained by america to break the USSRs hold in Afghanistan during the 90s. There are no good people in world politics only self interested ones.
Well you should be certain that there is something more behind spending trillions on two wars than 9/11. There is no valid argument in the world for flying over there. Though I like the idea of kicking tyrant rulers ass it doesn't make sense....and well if they went for natural resourses why didn't the go into Africa and fuck some poor country up and take the diamonds and gas?
To my knowledge, the U.S. military has never fly planes into another countries buildings in hopes of killing as many as possible. So, "Talibans are just terrorists aren't they?" in a word, yes. Yes they are.
No the U.S government flies drones instead 9/11 not good, some thousand people died there. But then some hundreds of thousands died in Irak / Afghanistan. Sure they were terrorists And who did 9/11? I bet you are one of those who believe everything seen on TV and call everyone who disagree with you a conspiracy theorist, wake up! I would really like to discuss this more in detail but my english skills are limited.
Dont be dumb, just shut down your TV and get Informations by yourself. The time will come when you realize that your government isnt so altruistic as they pretend to be. I mean do you srsly think they just want to help those countries like Afghanistan, Lybia, Syria, Irak etc.? They just save their economic interests. Poor Soldiers...they fight for something that isnt real or they just want to kill some people
"Get information by yourself"? And what sources do you recommend I use, because citing sources that have already concluded there is some global conspiracy aren't the reliable, altruistic gods of information you want them to be.
9 mm FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) at ~1,090 fps (332 mps)
.40 S&W Full Metal Jacket at 1,025 fps (312 mps) Minimum Recommended...
...for the vast majority of threats encountered on the street, though you would sustain more blunt trauma injury than Level II or III-A. The thinnest and best for concealability and comfort.
Level II-A has fallen out of favor, so generally a special order item now.

.357 JSP at ~ 1,400 fps (~427 mps). A great balance...
...between blunt trauma protection, versus cost, and thickness / comfort / concealability. Handles the blunt trauma of higher velocity +P rounds better.
What we recommend most often for concealable wear.
9 mm FMJ at ~1,400 fps (~427 mps)
.44 Magnum Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point at ~1,400 fps (~427 mps). The highest blunt trauma protection rating in soft body armor. The best for very high-risk situations to cover more of the uncommon or unusual threats. Minimizes blunt trauma injury to allow more effective return fire.
