It's a recoilless rifle, not a rocket.

Not bad for a weapon first designed in 1948. Though admittedly it's been improved a bit since then.

What type of round is that? It looks a bit like a canister shot with the cylinder slowing and the load expanding in front.

Yes the weapon is Swedish. I fired one once (army), it's like getting slammed in the chest with a rhino...

Very well timed shot!

And, there is a ammunition that fires hundreds of steel arrows... Sleep well, people! :)

Soo, basicly turns it into a shoulder fired, vehical killing, building smashing shotgun?

As far as I know, the ADM ammo was developed for the Thai army. Its use was to get out of an ambush in dense jungle, the arrows penetrating the cover. But of course, it can also be used in an ambush or breaking mass assaults. Im not sure against buildings or harder vehicles, but against a truck full of people? Brrrr...
The use of this ammo is a bit "in the dark" since it is somewhat of a PR problem... Like using white phosphor grenades for other things then making smoke...

When I said vehicals I WAS thinking soft skinned ones (though I should have said so). As for buildings, it would be good for "opening" locked doors...and dealing with anyone unlucky enough to be behind it...eewww

I know, "details"... But it is a grenade launcher or recoilless rifle. The back-blast is furious and a killer, if care is not taken.
Nice picture! :)
